West Africa's National Parks should take a cue from East…

Parks in western Africa have not been as successful as those in eastern and southern Africa. This is despite the fact that habitats in western Africa have the potential to support a wide diversity of flora and fauna. What is the reason for this mis-match, and how can it be cured?
